The locomotive in films
This locomotive has featured in two cult films:
Une affaire de femmes (Story of Women) by Claude Chabrol, released in 1988.
This film won the Golden Globe for best foreign film in 1989.
The sequence featuring the engine and van was shot in Dieppe station at the tunnel exit and took a day to complete.
Les Misérables by Claude Lelouch, released in 1995.
The sequences were shot at Pont-Audemer station and on the Pont-Audemer / Honfleur line. The steam engine, van and one first-class carriage were used for an interior sequence with Jean-Paul Belmondo. The filming took three days.
